First school term 2023 begins tomorrow

The first school term for the year 2023 will commence tomorrow, the Education Ministry announced.  

According to the statement issued by the ministry, the school term will continue until April 4 for the new year holidays. The new year school holidays will continue until April 16.

Letters notifying this were sent to all provincial chief secretaries, provincial education secretaries, provincial educational directors, zonal education directors and all the principals of Pirivenas. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
