First consignment of eggs arrives at Colombo Port: Minister

The first consignment of eggs imported from India reached the Colombo Port today, Commerce and Food Security Minister Nalin Fernando said today.

He told Parliament that the eggs would be released to the market after the necessary tests.

The Minister said this in response to a question raised by SJB MP Rohana Bandara on imported eggs. (Ajith Siriwardana)
