Father, daughter killed in fire at shop

A 50-year-old man and his 19-year-old daughter were killed while his wife and son were hospitalised with injuries when a fire broke out at a shop in Balangoda early this morning, the police said.

They said the victims were residing in the shop at Galgoda Junction on the Rukaththana Road when the fire broke out.

The injured were admitted to the Balangoda Hospital.
