Face masks recommended for indoors, transit, public gathering: Ministry
Considering the current COVID-19 situation in the country, the Health Services Director General has strongly recommended wearing face masks indoors, when using public transport and when taking part in public gatherings.
The recommendation was issued by the Health Services Director General Dr. Asela Gunawardena yesterday.
The letter in this regard was issued under the Quarantine and Prevention of Disease Ordinance No. 03 of 1897, published by the Health Minister by Regulation No.100, published in the Extraordinary Gazette Notification No. 2264/69 dated January 25, 2022. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
