Earthquake off Hambantota, no tsunami threat: GSMB
A minor earthquake of 4.4 magnitudes on the Richter scale has been recorded by the Seismic Monitoring Centre at the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) this morning.
They said the minor earthquake was reported 25.8 kilometers away from Hambantota.
However, the GSMB announced that there is no tsunami threat for Sri Lanka.
