Clash at Magazine Prison leaves two inmates injured

Colombo, July 10 (Daily Mirror) - A clash involving around five inmates broke out at the Magazine Prison this afternoon (10), leaving two prisoners injured.

The injured inmates were admitted to the National Hospital for treatment, prison sources said.

The cause of the clash has not yet been determined, and authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

The clash comes just days after the deadly violence at the Negombo Prison, which left several inmates and prison officers dead and injured.
