Circular issued to summon only essential staff in public institutions for duty from tomorrow
The Public Administration and Home Affairs Ministry has made directions to Ministry Secretaries, Chief Secretaries of Provincial Councils and Department Heads to formulate a mechanism to call for duty only the essentially needed staff to public institutions from tomorrow (26).
The Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs said in a circular that various parties have made representations that public servants have faced difficulties when reporting for duty due to issues found in public and private transportation.
The Secretary also said that state expenses for fuel, electricity and water should be minimized at this difficult time.
