Why are all these people using this "democracy is threatened ' card? This is exactly what democracy is. People's wishes are granted. Besides if the country's justice system finds a man guilty, and the these people call it undemocratic, political vendetta etc means they don't respect the judiciary or insinuate it is biased! Maybe when they were in power and did whatever they wanted (not what the people wanted), and thought that was democracy??

Go look in the mirror and ask "what did I do to protect democracy. Madam, please don't cry foul. You were part of the problem and help restore the democracy. "One Country, One Law", this is democracy ,and it is happening now. And all who were used to be living off public funds cry foul now, may be the fear of exposure I wonder. Look back, democracy was destroyed long ago, now hats off to the Judiciary with a Backbone and unbiased in its efforts to establish "Democracy ". Let's appreciate Judicial Independence now. "None" is above the law.
