Can’t come to conclusion without annexures: UNP MPs
It is not possible to come up with a stand on the forensic audit report carried out on the bond scam without the annexures, some UNP MPs said today.
UNP MPs Ajith P Perera, Wijepala Hettiarachchi and Nalin Bandara Jayamaha who came up with this notion at a media conference held at Parliamentary complex said that no one could come to any conclusion on the forensic audit report without the annexures which have been held back.
“The final conclusions made on the report is connected to the annexures. Therefore, it is not possible for anyone to get an idea as to what the report had revealed,” MP Perera said.
However, the MP said what had already been revealed in parts which have been tabled indicates that there have been interesting happenings during the bond issues during the past few years. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)
