Colombo, Nov. 23 (Daily Mirror) - Three large-scale cannabis cultivations have been uncovered in the Gonagan Ara area of the Yala Sanctuary during a special four-day operation carried out by Police.
According to Police, over 200,000 cannabis plants and more than 50 kilograms of dried cannabis were seized from the site. The illegal cultivations had reportedly spread across five acres, three acres, and two acres of land within the protected area.
Police said that all three cultivations were completely destroyed during the raid.
