CPC too increases fuel prices



Shortly after Sinopec announced revisions to its fuel prices, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) also increased its fuel prices, which will come into effect from midnight today.

Under the new price revision, Lanka Petrol 92 Octane will now be sold at Rs. 365 per litre, showing an increase of Rs. 04 from the previous rate while Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4 has seen an increase of Rs. 03 per litre, bringing the new price to Rs. 420.

Besides, Ceypetco has also adjusted the prices of diesel. Accordingly, Auto Diesel now stands at Rs. 351 per litre, reflecting an increase of Rs. 10 while the price of Super Diesel has been increased by Rs. 62, reaching Rs. 421 per litre.

Also, the price of kerosene has been hiked by Rs. 11, resulting in a revised rate of Rs. 242 per litre.
