CPC to conduct random check on fuel quality in all fuel stations
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) commenced random checks on fuel quality in all fuel stations islandwide, power and energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said.
He said the decision was taken due to complaints received over the quality of the fuel.
"There have been complaints over fuel quality and fuel stations mixing petroleum products with water, kerosene, and other liquids," the Minister said.
He also said the license would be immediately canceled for the filling stations if found violating guidelines. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
