CIABOC will probe sugar scam: Minister

Colombo, Feb. 3 (Daily Mirror) - The Committee to Investigate Allegations on Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) will carry out a probe into the sugar scam of 2020, Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala told Parliament today. 

Responding to a question raised by Opposition MP Chaminda Wijesiri, the Minister said the CID, which probed the scam initially, had handed over investigations to the CIABOC.
