Bus plunges into stream near Gregory Lake

Colombo, July 8 (Daily Mirror) - A private bus overturned into the Thalagala Oya near Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya today after the driver reportedly lost control while attempting to park the vehicle.

The bus, which operates between Nuwara Eliya town and Shanthipura, veered off the road and plunged into the stream near the Nuwara Eliya bus stand.

Police said only the driver and conductor were on board at the time of the accident, and neither sustained any injuries.
