Bus on pilgrimage to Sri Pada falls down precipice, two killed
At least two people died after a bus carrying a group of people who were on a pilgrimage to Sri Pada veered off the road and toppled down a precipice in the Norton Bridge area in Nuwara Eliya.
Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said the injured persons were being admitted to nearby hospitals.
It was reported that at least 30 individuals were on the bus and it toppled 100 feet down the precipice.
The Norton Bridge Police are conducting investigations
