Bus fares to reduce; minimum fare Rs.30
The Transport Ministry and the National Transport Commission (NTC) will reduce the minimum bus fare to Rs. 30 with effect from March 31.
The NTC told the Daily Mirror that the price revision will be officially announced this evening.
According to the Lanka Private Bus Owners Association (LPBOA) the price would be reduced by 8 percent. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
