Colombo, April 11 (Daily Mirror) - The Police Department today announced that the public should be vigilant over a gang that robs valuable belongings of long-distance passengers.

They said members of this gang usually board long-distance service buses like ordinary passengers and rob the valuable belongings of passengers.

Therefore, police request the passengers, bus drivers and conductors to be more careful.

The police also said that these thefts happen mostly on the Badulla-Colombo long-distance buses.

Ha Ha Ha ! This is due to the socioeconomic crisis in Sri Lanka. The ordinary people have no money. The other go in motorcades. The man at the top has a "Ratha Gaya" .

So if the police know so much why don't they catch them? Bus drivers and conductors also in the game.

Criminals like this, also pick pockets are a nuisance here in my country too. But what I can not understand is how it is possible that women in Sri Lanka get harassed in public transport so many times. Why do the other passengers not help these women? Are you all watching and doing nothing? Unacceptable!

Knowing this is the Police Department and IGP Desabandu sleeping?

WHY CANNOT WE DEPEND ON THE POLICE TO CATCH THE THIEVES?
