Battle against Covid-19: Envoys praise SL’s efforts

The Ambassadors and High Commissioners of the US, the UK, Australia and Canada had praised and commended the steps taken by the Sri Lankan government to prevent the spreading of Covid-19 in the country. 

The envoys had expressed this at a special meeting with the Head of the Presidential Task Force on Essential Services, Basil Rajapaksa today, the Prime Minister's Office said. 

The envoys have said that their countries will continuously provide the necessary assistance to Sri Lanka to battle the coronavirus.     

US Ambassador Alaina Tepliz, British High Commissioner Sarah Hulton, High Commissioner of Australia David Jhon Holly and High Commissioner of Canada David McKinnon had participated in the special meeting.  (Yoshitha Perera)
