A writ petition filed by a lawyer seeking an order directing the CID to arrest Western Province Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennakoon for his failure to prevent attacks on peaceful protesters at Galle Face was today dismissed by the Court of Appeal. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
