Colombo, Feb. 5 (Daily Mirror) - Around 700 acres of forest land in Madu and the adjoining Wilpattu National Park have been cleared by politicians during the past years, Minister Bimal Ratnayake told Parliament today. 

He said the Department of Forestry has been forced to take strict action on the matter.
