A police complaint had been lodged by a technical officer of the Arachchikattuwa Pradeshiya Sabha against a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) local government election candidate who allegedly assaulted the officer.

The scene recorded on a mobile phone shows the candidate using filth and attempting to assault the officer. (DSB)

very good. I think this T.A. may be a rouge. In Gampaha district close to Colombo too such officers are working who are up to bribe. They don't worry about inconvenience to the residence allowing filling all drains and doing constructions by various party. This is because the responsible officers are not monitoring their duties.
