Applications called to recruit graduate teachers for national, provincial schools

The Examinations Department invites applications for the competitive examination to recruit graduate teachers for national and provincial schools.

Issuing a notice, the ministry said graduates who are under 40 years of age and working in any position in public service could also apply.

They said the decision was taken to fill a large number of teacher vacancies to conduct teaching for advanced level (A/L) grades.

The provincial councils will take the necessary steps to fill the remaining and emerging vacancies alongside the other graduates.
