Applications accepted only by registered post: Ministry

Issuing a circular, the Education Ministry requested applicants to send their Grade 2 to Grade 11 enrollment applications to their respective schools by registered post from today.

The ministry mentioned that the applicants should send their applications, excluding enrollments, to Grade 6.

As per the circular, schools will take the necessary steps to select students to fill the vacancies available within.

Beginning from today, the ministry will not issue letters to admit students to intermediate grades in national schools. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
