Angoda Lokka’s main accomplice ’Cheeti’ arrested in STF raid

The Special Task Force (STF) has arrested Sarath Kumara alias 'Cheeti', the main accomplice of underworld criminal ‘Angoda Lokka', in Mulleriyawa yesterday.

The STF said he was arrested at IDH Junction with 11.2grams of heroin while travelling in a car.

Investigations revealed that the suspect is handling Angoda Lokka's drug smuggling and ransacking. It was also reported that' Cheeti' is the weapons distributor of Angoda Lokka.

He had been in remanded custody over possession of firearms, hand grenades and several other crimes as well.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
