Amith Weerasinghe re-remanded till tomorrow
Mahasohon Balakaya leader Amith Weerasinghe was further-remanded till May 29 by Colombo Additional Magistrate Shalani Perera today.
He was arrested on May 14 under emergency regulations on charges of breaching religious reconciliation and public peace.
The Additional Magistrate ordered the special investigative unit of the police, which made the arrest of the suspect, to submit a summery of the charges levelled against him to the court tomorrow. (T.Farook Thajudeen)
