All-party conference commences

President Ranil Wickremesinghe commenced an all-party conference at the Presidential Secretariat a short while ago, President's Media Division (PMD) said.

The primary aim of the conference is to apprise party leaders representing Parliament about both the National Reconciliation Program and the North and East Development Plan.

To maintain peace and harmony among all communities n religions in the country, it is advisable to implement full provisions of the 13A immediately. This will also pave the way for relatives n friends of minority communities residing overseas to invest in the country. Prez n all political party leaders should support this move.

Sharing powers means more layers and hierarchies. and waste of time resources ... northern politicians are also corrupt and not much smart these days..I would suggest like advanced economies simply make all citizens and religions and regions are equal and no cultural or religious or regional biases. and preferences. Each and every one has to mind their own business and increase their own productivity without expecting free from government. Government entertaining its citizens doomed to fail or will become perpetual borrowing and printing machine. I am afraid..
