Agreement reached on joint-Neketh Seettuwa for New Year

Colombo, March 16 (Daily Mirror) - All groups of astrologers who had dissagreement on the auspicious times designated for performing Sinhala New Year rituals have agreed for a joint-Neketh Seettuwa, the Ministry of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs said today.

The Ministry said a consensus was reached at a discussion held at the Ministry together with Minister Hiniduma Sunil Senevi.

How many do an honest days work currently working from office? The answer to that question may inform any discussion around a work from home option. The other issue is that our government office digitisation status is still quote backward. So much manual paper pushing and record keeping is part of the established system. It does not sound like a smart idea, but may be heavily supported by the union bosses for narrow objectives.

It is only Daily mirror which is supporting these next to nothing astrologers by creating a story which is of NO use only for the fools. I can still remember when the so-called masters of astrology predicted a great year of development on 31 Dec 2019 where they portrayed that SL will become one of the most developing countries in 2020. We all know what came to being in mid March 2020. It was a astrology supporting the rogues who were ruling the country at that time.

What a fuss by the opposition on TV to get nekath times, as if it will help them topple the govt. And what has observing these times (each astrologer gives different times) for the past ever done to us. Natural disasters, manmade (by govts) disasters to even bankruptcy, have never been evaded by these rituals. If it is an accurate forecast why get a panel of astrologers to agree, any one of them will do.
