Colombo, Sep 16 (Daily Mirror) - The issuance of admissions for the Korean Language Proficiency Test (KLPT) for employment opportunities in South Korea’s manufacturing and fisheries sectors has commenced, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) announced.
Applications can be submitted online via the official SLBFE website, www.slbfe.lk, until midnight on October 17, 2025.
According to the Bureau, eligible applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 39, not color blind, and free from any criminal convictions, fines, or imprisonment for serious offenses.
However, individuals with spinal cord injuries, missing or removed fingers, a history of deportation from South Korea, or those who have already worked in South Korea for more than five years under the E-9 and E-10 visa categories, will not be eligible to apply.
To obtain exam admissions, applicants are required to submit an application form along with a scanned copy of a valid passport (minimum validity of three months), and a recent passport-size photograph (3.5cm × 4.5cm, white background, taken within the last three months).
The examination fee is Rs. 8,428.40, payable to the Bank of Ceylon, People’s Bank, or National Savings Bank, with proof of payment required at the time of application.
