769 kgs cocaine to be destroyed
The Director General of the Drug Eradication Task Force Samantha Kumara Kithalawa Arachchi said arrangements are being made to burn and destroy a cocaine haul of 769 kgs tomorrow (01) April at the Puttalam Cement Factory premises.
This is the second time of destroying seized cocaine. The first destruction of 1,000 kgs of drugs were carried out last year.
President Maithripala Sirisena will also visit the site to observe the event of cocaine destruction.
The public also allowed to watch the event. (Dayaseeli Liyanage)
