Colombo, Dec 30 (Daily Mirror) - A strong 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck this morning in the Indian Ocean off North Sumatra and Sri Lanka's National Tsunami Early Warning Centre said there is no tsunami threat to Sri Lanka at present due to the effect of this earthquake.

Bringing up about non-events, and minor earthquakes near the anniversary is disappointing. The harm done by the current SLPP-UNP government is actually causing more deaths in the years of their power than the Boxing day Tsunami.

I agree with you. Thus both RR and their cronies including and stooges from time to time since year 2005 devastated this country by looting our assets it is also almost similar to the tsunami catastrophe. After the vat and other tariffs are increased the poorest people among poor who are living close proximity the coastal belt will experience another economic tsunami that is unprecedented
