4,479,376 users registered for fuel pass at 826 fuel stations: Ministry

A total of 826 fuel stations across the country have experimented the National Fuel Pass platform while registering 4,479,376 users for their fuel quota, the Power and Energy Ministry said.

They said more than 4 million registrations have been made by yesterday evening.

Meanwhile, 536 fuel stations dispensed fuel for 187,005 vehicles yesterday while utilising the Fuel Pass system. 

Also some 536,055 vehicles have obtained fuel through the NFP platform since July 21 and 163,544 people have registered today with the platform. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
