3.3 magnitude tremor recorded in Buttala
A minor 3.3 magnitude tremor was recorded a short while ago at the Buttala- Wellawaya area, the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) said.
They said the tremor originated at a depth of 7km.
No damage was reported as a result of the tremor. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
