Colombo, April 16 (Dailty Mirror) - The Railways Department said that 11 scheduled trains have been cancelled today due to locomotive operators and railway guards failing to report for duty.
As a result, trains scheduled to depart from Colombo Fort to Moratuwa, Ambepussa, Panadura, Negombo and Ragama were affected by these cancellations.

Whats the reason for locomotive operators n Railway Guards not reporting for work? The govt is to be blamed as it showed a blind eye for massive salary increase and to some other govt sectors. High time it considers favourably salary hike for Railway workers.
