Sri Lankan middle-order bat Chamara Kapugedara may not take further part in the Champions Trophy after injuring his knee during practices a short while ago. He was sent for a scan to ascertain the extent of the injury. Sources said Kapugedara will miss the crucial clash against India on Thursday
He is likely to be replaced by Dhanushka Gunathilaka in the squad. Sri Lanka also without vice-captain Upul Tharanga who is serving a two-match ban for slow overate during their 96-run defeat to South Africa on Saturday. Sri Lanka must beat India to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.
