“ A great initiative by two Ride for Ceylon riders, Dr Ghefari & Ramona Dulapandan, who raised funds and together with Dr Changa Kurukularatne (infectious decease specialist) they were able to distribute rations to approx 175 families in the Dehiwela/Mount Lavinia area on Thursday.
The distribution team also comprised David Rasiah (Co Organiser, Ride for Ceylon), Frank Veddamanikkam (Ride for Ceylon Logistics) & Enoch one of the youngest riders for R4C.
The team hopes to do the same today for about 200 families whilst creating awareness of the importance of wearing a mask and staying indoors.
