A well-known soothsayer of Rajarata is said to have invited the Deva Mandalaya (Pantheon of deities) to meet him to pose some queries to them.
All queries he had posed to the pantheon of deities had been related to the upcoming big poll.
The soothsayer had claimed later that he received answers to all queries made to the Deva Mandalaya.
Three politicos from Rajarata and Pulatisipura belonging to the two main political parties- who had used to consult the soothsayer often- had called on him to find out what the Deva Mandalaya had conveyed to him.
The soothsayer had confided in them the predictions made by the Deva Mandalaya and asked them to keep them as a secret.
However, a politico with a moniker, which is same as the name of a village of Pulatisipura, had revealed to a popular stalwart of his own party what he had learnt from the soothsayer and had added:
“Machang, all predictions made by this soothsayer so far have come right. Therefore, I am not going to dip into my purse to spend what little I have this time. I will do whatever possible with whatever resources they place at my disposal!”
The other politico has now decided to meet the soothsayer himself to check the veracity of what his colleague had told him, they say.
