Access Residencies, a fully owned subsidiary of Access Engineering PLC, recently broke ground for the first apartment complex built under its name in Thalawathugoda recently.
Access has been one of the leading contractors undertaking many apartments coming up in Colombo and other suburbs, but this is the first time that it had ventured into property development under its brand name.
The high-rise complex at No.733, Pannipitiya Road, Thalawathugoda comprises of 63 well luxury apartments ranging from 950 square-feet to 1456 square-feet with one, two and three bedroom specifications which are categorised from Type A to G in nine floors which is due to be completed by the end of August, 2019.
Some of the key features of these apartments are:Fully air-conditioned units, ADSL connections in all units, and imported bathware and fittings including floor tiles. It has a roof top swimming pool along with a fully equipped gymnasium. The ground floor features a unique visitors lobby. The property also has enough and more space to park vehicles in the basement and the ground floor.

Access ResidenciesGeneral Manager Lakkana Abeynayake said: “We aspire to provide a value for money service to our customers by offering both comfort and harmony at the same time. Thalawathugoda is a prime hub with access to some of the main suburbs in Colombo such as Nugegoda, Battaramulla and Pannipitiya.”
“This ideally located facility is not less than 200metres from the Thalawathugoda junction with a picturesque and serene, city view from the comfort of your balcony. You name it, restaurant, shopping mall, grocery, pharmacy, walking path; anything is there in Thalawathugoda,” he noted. Access Residencies is also planning a similar apartment complex in Kirimandala Mawatha, Narahenpita which they plan to start developing the property by the end of December this year.
