The 2021 Humanitarian Excellence Awards ceremony was held recently at the Postal Headquarters Auditorium in Colombo amidst a distinguished gathering. 

Awards were presented in various categories to those engaged in diverse professions for their contribution towards building peace and harmony among all communities, through culture, arts, media and other areas.


It was organized by the Media Unit of the Human Rights Organization of Justices of Peace. Veteran journalists Samantha Yahampath, Kelum Srimal and Priyantha Wijesinghe were among those who received the Humanitarian Excellence Award in addition to several senior artistes.
