Two persons were killed and four others injured when a private bus collided head-on with a three-wheeler in Dankotuwa this morning, police said.
They said the injured were admitted to the Dankotuwa Hospital.
The deceased was identified as 59-year-old Handunkutti Arachchige Ranjith of Dankotuwa and 59-year-old Dona Kumuduni Dhammika Jayakodi, a resident of Rawita, Welpalla.
The driver of the bus was arrested.
