The Supreme Court today re-fixed for support on May 11, the fundamental rights petition filed by former CID Director SSP Shani Abeysekera.
The Bench comprised Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya and Justices Sisisira J. de Abrew and Priyantha Jayawardana.
Petitioner Shani Abeysekera in his petition said it was a violation of his human rights to demote him by appointing him as the Southern Province DIG’s personal assistant. (S.S.Selvanayagam)
