PM thanks India for evacuation of two Lankans from cruise ship

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today expressed his gratitude to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for facilitating the evacuation of two Sri Lankans on board the Coronavirus-hit and quarantined cruise ship Diamond Princess.

In a twitter post, Premier Rajapaksa said the Acting Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka had informed him that the two Sri Lankans who were on board the Diamond Princess had been flown out of Tokyo and arrived safely in Delhi.

    Mahinda did not know the two Sri Lankans were india until they arrived. No way to get credit.
