Karuna summoned to CID

Former Deputy Minister Vinyagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman was summoned to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to record a statement, Police Spokesman Jaliya Senaratne said.
He said the acting IGP today ordered the CID to immediately launch an investigation into the statement made by Karuna Amman which he claimed to have committed crimes when he was in the LTTE,

If he is not arrested all of us can say anything and get away. Let's see how the CID handles this. Otherwise we can vouch that there are 2 laws in this country
