“Family members of Buddhists who succumb to COVID-19 are saddened as they are unable to perform the tradition of‘ pansakula’ just like the Muslims who are not allowed to cremate the dead,”the MP said.

MP does not know the actual fact. These laws are only for poor. Rich and influencial people are performing all the traditions.

We have better educated Minister of Health, than the WHO head. She knows everything and nothing.

Except Sri Lanka all the other countries follow the usual funeral rites of the dead and it defeats one's imagination to comprehend the spread of the virus from a CORONA victim unless he or she is re-incarnated.

Hello all of you are good for nothing. Don't try to get cheap publicity during crisis time. Public waste only.

Do not play POLITICS. The community seeking rights of their last rites was severely hit their rights during 2015-2019 under UNP-RANIL partnered govt of Maithripala Sirisena
