Emergency regulations extended by another month

The extension of the emergency regulations by another month was passed in Parliament.

This was the third occasion where the emergency regulations were extended after the Easter Sunday attacks.

Emergency regulations provide provisions to the armed forces to take measures to ensure peace in the country.
