S.N. Roshan, alias Ali Roshan, and seven others, who were remanded over the illegal possession of five elephants during 2012-2015 without a valid license, were released on bail today.
They were released on a cash bail of Rs.25, 000 with two sureties of Rs.5 million each by the three-bench Trial-at-Bar in the Colombo High Court.
The case would be taken up again on August 30. (Farook Thajudeen)
