A 65 year-old woman from Eravur has died of COVID-19 increasing the death toll in Sri Lanka to 484, the Government Information Department said.
She has tested positive for COVID-19 at the Batticaloa Hospital and transferred to the IDH where she has died today.
The cause of death was reported as blood poisoning and COVID pneumonia.
