National Chamber to hold Job Fair in Horana

T h e N a t i o n a l C h a m b e r o f C o m m e r c e o f S r i L a n k a i n partnership with the National Human Resources Development Council of Sri Lanka and the vocational training institutions are conducting a Job/ Career Fair on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Thakashila Central College in Horana. This has been the third occasion this fair is conducted in the outstations. The event would be an opportunity for employers to find employees to fill their job vacancies and for school leavers/job seekers to find suitable employment.

Skilled labour is available in the following areas: automobile, painting, plumbing, air-conditioning, agriculture, information technology, welding, electrical, tailoring carpenters, computer hardware. Before the commencement of interviews by the prospective employers, an awareness seminar will be conducted for the job seekers at 9:30 a.m. at the venue. School leavers and graduates are eligible to participate.The interviews will commence from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for employers to interview the job seekers and confirm their applications on the spot.
