The entire blame for this unfortunate situation lies with the Government. The whole world is aware of the plight of innocent Muslims, who were driven out of their original settlements under the ethnic cleansing policy of the Milosevic of Sri Lanka, the megalomaniac Prabaharan. It is three years since the war ended, and the status quo still remains. The government should immediately resettle all Muslims evicted from their original settlements, in the North, and this necessarily means that Tamils who had occupied Muslim lands with the connivance of the LTTE, have to be moved elsewhere. We can expect more incidents of this nature in the future if the government does not heed the call of innocent Muslims, and reverse the ethnic cleansing policies initiated by the Milosevic of Sri Lanka.
