The Centre for Diabetes Endocrinology and Cardio Metabolism was today launched in Colombo with the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena commemorating the World's Diabetes Day 2016. A donation of Rs. 500,000/- was handed over to the research fund of the College of Endocrinologists, Sri Lanka by Dr. Uditha Bulagahapitiya to Dr. Gaya Katulanda. (Pix by Pradeep Dilrukshana)

    Educate people about junk food. Sugary desserts, sugary drinks and eating fast food need to be addressed.
