50 Schools commit to SDG Action Campaign

Fifty schools, which were selected for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Action Campaign, received financial grants and technical support at an event held in Colombo on Thursday

UN Office in Colombo said the Campaign for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is led by the UN in Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Education Ministry, Hatton National Bank and the Presidential Secretariat

The Campaign has been initiated in an effort to reach out to school students to design and implement an SDG based project in their communities.
